​One of the many commissions undertaken by Kay Lipton when she was the Resident Artist for the  British High Commision  in the British Protectorate as it was in 1950, Kampala, Uganda, East Africa.

She left with Dr Anthony Lipton and family in 1960 just before Idi Amin was in power and Uganda had become independant..
